I have been a Linux user since 1999, when I first got to know the Debian distribution and used the impressive (at the time) Window Maker as a graphical manager. Since then, I have gone through several distributions and usually choose to use the Debian distribution again. However, I decided to test Arch Linux and I was surprised by the robustness and simplified management, although it is still inferior to Debian in this respect, but it is a personal opinion and we do not need to generate heated discussions about it. At this time (April 14, 2021), I use Gnome 40 and I leave here my experiences and results when installing the Garuda version of Arch Linux on my 21.5 " iMac, year 2011.
