PMTK3 requires version 2007a `(R14)` or newer, however with a few adjustments it should be possible to make most of it work on older versions. Here is a list of known compatibility issues and possible fixes.
* bsxfun, used extensively in PMTK3 was only released in 2007a. A replacement function is available on the [http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/18685 MATLAB file exchange] but this has not been tested.
