Work on your basics and keep yourself abreast with current affairs. These two areas will never lose their relevance in preliminary. They are most safe areas to bet on. You never ever get ditched by them . These two areas will make your foundation strong and the same time will help to cover 70- 80% of questions in the exam. Now do not waste time to overthink on strategies, shortcuts and ‘how to score maximum in prelims’ kind of questions. Work hard.

Its better to continue working than giving CAT, preparation and the course completion for MBA will take not less than 2.5 yrs and if im not wrong you want to join MBA in 2018 !? in this case you have already wasted this year.
If you got a job, why do you look for a MBA degree? rejoin your previous job work for a couple of years, then try aiming a good college for executive mba course.
Secondly, if you want to prepare for CS dont bother about anything else, you already have got a good job with decent enough salary. Increase your efficiency at workplace and try to finish your work in 9hrs then go home, study. If you work in the same organization for a year, you will see a great change in your learning curve.
If you want to join MBA then you will be postponing your aim for 3yrs then you again have to start your career form the same place where you were in your 1st job, then you will again struggle for adjusting time.
There is no point in quitting a job and preparing for CS, you can take a few weeks of leave before your prelims and mains.
