This page describes the proposed time line for the PacketAnalyzer project.

Deadline 1 : February 20, 2016

• Alpha Release of application with following features implemented
  • Security framework with hierarchies of access control for different analyzers
  • Default analyzers of Eth, IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP
  • Limited support to define custom analyzers and link them as per user requirements

Deadline 2: March 10, 2016

• Beta(v1) release of application

Deadline 3: March 31, 2016

• Testing and bug resolving
• Documentation and wiki completion
• Code reviews with peers
• Deployment

Deadline 4: April 30, 2016

• Beta(v2) release of application with tentative additional features as follows -
  • Migrating from MySQL to NoSQL database for persistence
  • Distributed system for packet analyzer
