Disable UAC prompting on secure desktop

Press Windows Key + R and run secpol.msc. Under local settings, disable "User account control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation".

Installing the game

Note: Installing the game solely from the Tweaker has not worked for me in a VM. You can try at your own risk, but I cannot guarantee that it will work properly.

Now, you should download the initial 11gb launcher from the Microsoft Store. Once it is finished, I advise you not to run it from there. Instead, install the PSO2 Tweaker. Once it is finished, update it to the latest version and run Troubleshooting -> Fix Permission Issues. Then, you can install the game from the Tweaker. If all went well, enjoy! All technical queries not coming from the VM configuration should now be directed to the PSO2 Tweaker Discord.
