USB‐C port motion based connect disconnect loop fix - portapack-mayhem/mayhem-firmware GitHub Wiki
From a technical standpoint the USB-C connector type is a variant with two brackets on top designed to provide pressure keeping the cable's connector in place. Sometimes from normal wear&tear or factory mishaps they become loose or bent slightly upwards. When you move around the connected device it creates a connect/disconnect effect like your machine may be posessed by the devil. It ain't! The fix is to get a small flat bit screwdriver SL1.5 and SLIGHTLY bend them inwards. Mind you this is a simple fix. If it cannot be implemented do not take up knitting as a hobby! 🧶 Full official guide available here: https://greatscottgadgets.com/2026/03-15-self-repair-guide-for-hackrf-pro-usb-c-connector/
