If you want to get rid of all the window borders, including the title bar, then there is this old trick:

mkdir -p ~/.themes/vacui/xfwm4/
touch ~/.themes/vacui/xfwm4/themerc

Then select the "vacui" Window Manager theme thru Settings -> Window Manager.
