Form XObjects are an extremely useful feature of the PDF file format, allowing a PDF file to "wrap" a pre-existing PDF page or even a rectangle from within a page and reuse that page or rectangle in a new PDF.

pdfrw fully supports creation and use of Form XObjects, and can even create Form XObjects for use with reportlab.
