Now that I'm well past middle-age (that's "middle age", not "Middle Earth"), my doctor won't let me get involved with comfort foods. The next best thing, for me, is watching tech videos produced by Jupiter Broadcasting. Jupiter Broadcasting produced as series of tech podcasts/vodcasts every week. It's a small media company run out of Washington state by Chris Fisher. Among others, they're responsible for the Linux Action Show. Shows are streamed live on a regular schedule using ScaleEngine (which also hosts archived content for the main Jupiter Broadcasting site). A drop down menu on the right hand side of the home page lets you navigate to their RSS feeds, for example ALL SHOWS -- Ogg Audo RSS. Content can also be viewed on their YouTube Channel. The footer of their home page contains links to various vendors like Amazon CA for making purchases that will support their shows. There's also a Donate page, and links to set up a direct paid subscription. My favories are TechSNAP, LAS (Linux Action Show), its companion Linux Unplugged and the always politically incorrect Unfilter.
