Integrating OpenAM with Active Directory

Kerberos Desktop SSO with OpenAM and Active Directory is a blog post I just came across that got me thinking: Can we really just learn to live together? Apparently, yes. The nice thing about the referenced post is that it doesn't just lay out a procedure for doing this, it makes the case for why you'd want to and then sets down what you'll need to do it. The blog contains some other pretty interesting Windows-oriented OpenAM stuff too, like OpenAM Apache agent on Windows aka Getting Windows services to reload environment variables -- which basically shows you how to get the essential NSS_STRICT_NOFORK=DISABLED environment variable instantiated when Apache gets started as a Windows service.
