pdfshuffler

PDF-Shuffler looks pretty interesting. Just installed. Read on for my fancy dependency tree footwork.

PDF-Shuffler is a small python-gtk application, which helps the user to merge or split pdf documents and rotate, crop and rearrange their pages using an interactive and intuitive graphical interface. It is a frontend for python-pyPdf.

Because the pdfshuffler package showed up on an EPEL search from a Scientific Linux 6 machine, you'd think all the dependencies would be covered. No such luck. Turns out that pypoppler for RHEL 6 is a dependency, but unlike pdfshuffler, isn't in the stable EPEL repo. It's only in testing. To get around this I temporarily enabled epel-testing.repo to install that package and then was able to get pdfshuffler up and running.
