OpenAM vs OAM
Found the very short thread referenced below on a search of "openam enterprise". Interesting results. From Markmail: OpenAM comparison with OAM (aggregated from the net.java.dev.opensso.users list) Here's the text for all those web-crawlers who frequent this site:
From my experience in both I have to tell you that Oracle OAM is very flakey and troublesome to maintain with lots of configuration files spread everywhere. I personally like to work with OpenSSO(OpenAM). It is a much better product and performs great vs OAM. I know of few customers using OAM and they have nothing but issues, using external consultants to help them out configure and maintain the product. Last is the configuring OAM in the HA mode. It is a nightmare. Hope you be able to convince you boss to try OpenAM.
