programming frustration

Some months back Andrew Vos wrote a piece comparing the amount of profanity found in git commits in different programming languages. The results are interesting, though probably not surprising to anyone who actually writes code. Here is the graphic: Not sure why, but earlier reporting about this in Webmonkey left out the column for perl, which as you can see is right up their alongside its close cousin C++, surpassing not only Java, but also the foundational C language, in the "race to the top". In fact among scripting languages only Javascript and perl-based Ruby outdid perl in profanity-laden commits.
