Multimedia Addon for Firefox

MediaPlayerConnectivity is another terrific addon for Firefox. It allows you to easily configure which multimedia apps will be used to play media content accessed by your browser. Sort of like the form for setting up Helper Applications we had in Mozilla, but which got severely lobotomized in Firefox. The main difference is that this addon will help you to handle streaming content, which is a huge improvement over things as they were.

Like my favorite media player, vlc, this is also made in France.
