Description

This talisman seems to have great metaphysical significance, allowing an alchemist to imprint it on their own soul. This imprint, in turn, can be used in mechanical contexts to provide access to that alchemist's knowledge and EMC reserves.

To perform the binding, one simply needs to perform the ritual of "right clicking".
