You found a secret page...!

If you've been using EBME since April of 2024, you'd have noticed a tab with a little icon of a mug of coffee. Whenever you're tired of map editing, come here and take a break by playing the hidden game.

Gnat Attack is no joke! 3 levels and 3 tough bosses await those with skilled mouse control. Here are the tricks to get ahead:

Nip it in the bud

When you see the yellow bugs fly in, swat them quick! They'll spawn little flies that chase you down. These pests only get faster with each level, so take them out at the source.

Don't be a pacifist

Letting the bomb bugs explode doesn't decrease the amount of enemies remaining! You will need to swat them or a new one will take their place.

Bait the big boss

The boss at the end of each level is actually pretty smart. He'll try to move over to you if you hide on the other side of the screen. If you're directly below him, he may suddenly charge at you. And if your mouse is above his head, he'll only attack with spiraling orbs. Use this information to your advantage to make him attack in a way you can dodge!

Go for gold

After beating three levels, you're sent back to level 1, and you'll rank up, indicated by a small icon in the top-left. From this point onward, bonus lives are less common. There are 15 icons in all, so that's 48 levels to beat without ever hitting a Game Over! Rumour has it that a secret challenge awaits the dedicated player...
