- Adding Images
- To add an image, it needs to be hosted somewhere.
- To add an image hosted by the Wiki you need to checkout the wiki using git, commit an image, and push the changes back to to GitHub.
- For an easier hack to get images onto GitHub, see this article.
- Embedding Videos
- You can't embed videos into GitHub Wikis
- You can add an animated GIF (please make sure it's relatively small, around 5MB ideally)
- You can take a screenshot of the video and add a link to the video hosted elsewhere
