Brief

Using blast.js, create a simple webpage that is playful in some way. (Much of the work many of you have done is already playful, but think about how playful approaches to "serious" or "productive" ideas in web design might change our experience of them.)

The main objective here is to use blast.js, so the playfulness will probably revolve around characters/words/sentences/specific words behaving in unexpected/counter-intuitive ways.

Remember to think fairly small to give yourself time to work on the Midterm Project as well!

Grading

Exercises are not meant to be exhausting or stressful, but rather a chance to play with the technical and expressive possibilities of the programming learned in class.

Exercises are graded as either

• Pass: Genuine engagement with the concept of the exercise, effort made to use the technology creatively
• Fail: Non submission, not-functional, or unacceptably minimal effort
