Welcome to the Ecofren Vision!
Ecofren is an online game, powered by Web3 technologies, based on the fact that the in-game world is affected by the players' real-life choices. This document describes an interactive game designed to help people move towards an eco-social lifestyle. The game explores themes such as materials, movement, energy, ownership, and well-being, encouraging players to reflect on their consumption habits and consider more sustainable alternatives. Designed to promote a more sustainable lifestyle, this game also serves an important and easy entering into the world of Web3.
Ecofren is the first step towards a system where consumption points can be earned and traded in a marketplace. This concept requires additional data from fields such as energy, general consumption, logistics and traffic, agriculture, and industry. The game is designed to inspire individuals while remaining fun, non-judgmental, and engaging. It promotes a lifestyle that is both ecologically sound and socially responsible, allowing players to assess their daily choices realistically.
The game integrates AI to _assess questions and _statements while providing small in-game tasks that encourage physical actions. Sustainability values are embedded into all aspects of production, ensuring a balance between entertainment and meaningful impact. Features like goal assessment, structured levels, and engaging content allow for continuous improvement in sustainability education and practice. Additionally, there is future potential to integrate augmented reality (AR) technology, such as Teleport Varjo, to enhance visual immersion.
A key development goal is linking real-world consumption data to the game. An AI agent will guide players towards sustainable practices by tracking, analyzing, and learning from their actions. This individualized approach ensures unique gaming experiences. Each player has a set of consumption points, and the game assists them in achieving a sustainable lifestyle aligned with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees celsius. As mentioned the points can be traded in the market, which tailors the idea of consumption for an individual.
Ecosystems within the game encourage player participation. Player activity strengthens the network of virtual nodes. We are still struggling with the idea, how to create an extraordinary UX. To define the critical point of the service and understand the golden moment: the player is focusing on this area, and the flow of gaming activities could be seamless.
Gameplay
In Ecofren, players take on the role of a customizable character who navigates a vibrant, interconnected world shaped by sustainability. The journey begins with each player creating their unique avatar, representing their progress through stats, owned items, and properties. As players engage in real-life eco-friendly activities—like recycling, reducing carbon footprints, or participating in fitness challenges—they provide proof of their actions to AI Agents within the game. These sustainable behaviors are rewarded with in-game advancements, unlocking new areas, items, and abilities.
Inspired by the social and collaborative elements of games like Club Penguin, Ecofren allows players to interact with others in community hubs, customize their own apartments with on-chain items, and participate in eco-friendly missions and challenges. Through innovative gameplay mechanics, Ecofren bridges the gap between real-world impact and virtual rewards, creating a fun and meaningful experience where every choice matters.
Game's World
The world of Ecofren is a vibrant, interconnected, and futuristic environment that reflects themes of sustainability, collaboration, and technological innovation. The _world evolves _as players contribute to sustainability efforts, creating a dynamic and immersive experience. The gaming environment evolves within the versions of the game, since the first version of the game is an experimental project to address to the sustainable activities.
