This tutorial describes the steps required to start a PhenoMeNal cloud research environment (CRE) on Amazon cloud (AWS) and is a sub-section of Starting a PhenoMeNal CRE via PhenoMeNal PortalYou will need a pre-exsisting AWS account with credits for setting up this deployment. For tutorial on how to obtain an AWS account see How do I create and activate a new Amazon Web Services account?

Note: Please make sure to switch off the deployment after use to avoid continued use of your AWS credita.

  1. Click Amazon web services on the Setup New Cloud Research Environment page.
