viva is the global version while vida is the India-exclusive version.

Mediatek MT6781 (ARM64) - VNDK 31.0

Some major functionality is only restored via tweaking the phh treble settings.

Only tested on kernel 4.14.186-perf-g0341adf21b97 and Android 14 - will test A15 soon.

📃 Steps to install

Flashing:

• Boot to (orange) fastboot after unlocking the bootloader (hold power + vol down while phone is shut down; if nothing appears, let go of power button and press vol down again)
• connect your device to a computer
• run the following commands:

fastboot delete-logical-partition product_a
fastboot delete-logical-partition product_b
fastboot flash system {GSI_filename}.img
fastboot -w # WILL DELETE USERDATA + METADATA! CREATE BACKUPS BEFOREHAND!
fastboot reboot

Most errors can be solved by renaming the presumably long name of the GSI to a shorter name, e.g. system.img

DSU Sideloader:

LineageOS 21 "Light" booted flawlessly and retained functionality when trying to load with DSU sideloader.

Enable the following in Phh Treble Settings > Misc Features:

• Rotation perf hint instead of touch

• Mediatek GED KPI support

• Force alternative backlights scale

• Force enable Camera2API HAL3

• Disable "Voice Call in" route

• Set Bluetooth workarounds to MediaTek
