Usage in Croatia - phax/phoss-smp GitHub Wiki

It is possible to use phoss SMP for the Croatian eInvoicing mandate starting in 2026.

To match the Croatian requirements, make sure you comply to the following requirements:

• The following preconditions must be made

  • You have a respective certificate from FINA that you configure as a keystore - see https://github.com/phax/phoss-smp/wiki/Configuration#-smp-backend-configuration for keystore configuration details
  • FINA has separate Test and Production certificates
    • Request Test Certificates: https://www.fina.hr/poslovni-digitalni-certifikati/poslovni-certifikati-za-fiskalizaciju/izdavanje-demo-aplikacijskog-certifikata-za-fiskalizaciju
      • Demo CAs: https://www.fina.hr/finadigicert/certifikati-za-testiranje-i-demonstraciju/fina-demo-ca-certifikati
    • Request Production Certificates: https://www.fina.hr/poslovni-digitalni-certifikati/poslovni-certifikati-za-fiskalizaciju/izdavanje-certifikata-za-fiskalizaciju
      • Production CAs: [HR] https://www.fina.hr/finadigicert/fina-ca-root-certifikati or [EN] https://www.fina.hr/eng/finadigicert/ca-certificates
  • Make sure that the certificate contains the full chain including the root certificate - similar to https://github.com/phax/phoss-smp/wiki/Certificate-setup
  • You run at least phoss SMP 8.0.7 - the latest version is always recommended
  • Make sure that you pick a URL that does not use any path at the end

• The following properties need to be set:

  • smp.rest.type=bdxr - required to choose the right type of XML messages
  • smp.hredelivery.extension - required to turn on Croation specific extensions
  • smp.hredelivery.accesspointoib - this must be the 11-digit OIB number that your company received from the Croatian government
  • smp.truststore.type=pkcs12 - the truststore type. PKCS12 is recommended, but may also be JKS if absolutely needed
  • smp.truststore.path=truststore-fina-demo.p12 - the file is to be copied from https://github.com/phax/peppol-commons/tree/master/hredelivery-commons/src/main/resources/truststore-hredelivery - for production, choose the production truststore from the same folder
  • smp.truststore.password=hredelivery - this is the default password for the truststore
  • smpclient.truststore.type=${smp.truststore.type} - this is an internal variable reference to the other SMP configuration property
  • smpclient.truststore.path=truststore-fina-complete.p12 - the file is to be copied from https://github.com/phax/peppol-commons/tree/master/hredelivery-commons/src/main/resources/truststore-hredelivery
  • smpclient.truststore.password=${smp.truststore.password} - this is an internal variable reference to the other SMP configuration property
  • sml.smpid - contains the MPS ID and must follow the pattern "MPS" + 11-digit-OIB number
