Since February 1st 2020, all Peppol Access Points MUST support the AS4 protocol. The underlying Peppol AS4 profile specification can be found at https://docs.peppol.eu/edelivery/as4/specification/

In phoss SMP you can easily handle AS2 and AS4 endpoints in parallel. To use AS4, you need to follow a few steps:

Ensure, that the new transport profile peppol-transport-as4-v2_0 is supported. Log into phoss SMP, and open the menu item "Administration | Transport profiles". If there is no line with ID peppol-transport-as4-v2_0 create a new one. The preferred name of the new transport profile is "Peppol AS4 v2". Alternatively press the button "Ensure all default transport profiles" to automatically create all missing transport profiles.
Next step is to create a new endpoint using this AS4 transport profile. Just open the menu item "Endpoints". Since you cannot edit the transport profile of an existing endpoint, you need to create a new one. To avoid copying all data fields I suggest to "copy" an existing AS2 endpoint (by clicking the icon with the 2 small windows on top of each other). Select the new transport profile with the ID peppol-transport-as4-v2_0 and adopt the endpoint URL (except your AS2 and AS4 messages are received on the same endpoint). Press "Save".
