Commons components that don't fit neatly into another submodule. Prior to v12 this was the most basic library; in v12+ many packages were extracted into dedicated modules (ph-base, ph-io, ph-text, ph-collection, etc.).

Highlights:

  • Pair / IPair - generic tuple holder
  • ConcurrentCollectorSingle / ConcurrentCollectorMultiple - thread-safe batch processing from multiple producer threads
  • ThreadDeadlockDetector - JMX-based deadlock detection
  • SerializationConverter - custom serialization converter registry (populated via SPI)
  • LoggingInvocationHandler - dynamic proxy for method call logging
  • Homoglyph / HomoglyphBuilder - homoglyph detection for security
  • LevenshteinDistance - string similarity
  • RomanNumeral - roman numeral conversion
  • CombinationGenerator - combinatorial generation
  • ImageDataManager - image metadata (dimensions) caching
  • GraphVizHelper - GraphViz DOT rendering

Maven usage

Add the following to your pom.xml to use this artifact:

Note: the Maven groupId changed in v10 from com.helger to com.helger.commons
