#CloudLock Policies
Policies are the automated rules you create in CloudLock Security Fabric to customize information protection to match your organization’s needs. The Security Fabric comes with a wide variety of predefined policies targeted at specific regions, industries, and concerns. There are also three types of “Build Your Own” policies available in CloudLock:
- Context Only: this kind of policy finds documents fitting a given exposure (for example, shared publicly) without regard the content they contain. Exposure is the extent to which information is shared, from private (shared only with the owner) to various degrees of internal to fully public (shared on the Internet with no restrictions). Context-only policies are of limited utility with AWS.
- Correlated User Behaviors: this is a user & entity behavioral analytics (UEBA) policy with multiple criteria available for monitoring events and activities.
- Custom Regex: identifies documents containing text that matches a pattern you create. Regex stands for “Regular Expression”, which is a standard approach to matching patterns of information. For more information, see the CloudLock Regular Expressions Guide, available in the CloudLock Community.
A single CloudLock policy can be applied to as many platforms as an organization supports, or to just a single platform. This is called the policy’s context.
