Welcome to the MacBook Pro 2016 Linux Wiki!

TL;DR: I got a new MacBook Pro 2023 a while back and I started tinkering with the old one, starting with an installation of Linux Mint. After that (it went very well and was both easy to set up and stable), I wanted to install Arch so I could comment "I use Arch btw" on Reddit. Arch was neither easy to set up nor very stable in the sense that things happened as expected repeatedly (initially), but now I'm more or less happy.

I'll try to write down what I did in case anyone has a similar machine and wants to use it for Linux and I'll list my sources under 'Sources' at the bottom right of this wiki.
