The machine came with a measly 4 GB of RAM, so it most definitely needed an upgrade. Although the documentation says otherwise, it will work with up to 32 GB (of which around 30 GB will be available to Unraid). I opted for the Corsair Vengeance Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 SODIMM 2400MHz CL16 Memory Kit which cost me around 80 Euro at the time of writing (Dec 2023) on Amazon.
