  • If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer (or Internet Explorer 8 in compatibility mode), try another browser or disable compatibility settings. To do so:

    • Choose Tools > Compatibility View Settings, then uncheck Display intranet sites in Compatibility View and Display all websites in Compatibility View.

  • Check that the database is configured correctly and persistence.xml points to the proper location. This is normally localhost; or the IP address if bind-address is not 127.0.0.1.

  • Stop the services and restart.
