Heists
Fixed issues with the Heat Street skirmish map.
Reduced the spawn cap on Goat Sim 1.
Removed Captain Spring from Golden Grin Casino
He often moved too slow through the level, because of the sheer scale of it.
Reintroduced the failsafe to the panic room roof objective, and increased the minimum enemies required to block it up to 10 from 8.
Visuals and Audio
Updated the zombie faction to better cover new units, and generally look spooky.
Menus now use a spooky environment, for Halloween.
This can be disabled using the holiday effects option.
Zombie LPFs have unique audio.
Added a replacer for the 'default environment' used on many launch heists.
Launch heists should generally look a bit nicer when this is active.
Enemies will comment about carried deployables.
Improved the visual effect for Armor Piercing and Slowing attacks.
Added PD:TH Halloween Masks
Enemies
Added the Headless Bulldozer captain.
He appears on Prison Nightmare, but replaces Spring during October.
We aren't going to say what he does just yet, but be very afraid.
Adjusted Winters' tactics to be slightly more aggressive.
Increased Gangster base health to 40 from 20.
Cloaker kicks and Taser shocks no longer ignore damage reduction and deflection. Damage increased to compensate.
Captain Autumns' and Titan Tasers' special melee attacks can now be parried.
Captain Autumn no longer resists explosive damage.
Reduced damage of skull dozers on lower difficulties.
Skills
MG Handling Basic
Now only applies to SMGs and LMGs.
After much discussion, we've decided to split SMG and AR skills to help differentiate them.
Generally, Rifles are more precision focused than SMGs. Offering benefits for careful headshots over raw sustained fire.
MG Specialist
Now only applies to SMGs and LMGs.
Body Expertise
Basic now only applies to SMGs and LMGs.
Ace now applies to ALL automatic weapons.
Previously this skill could work with all automatic weapons except shotguns, which was rather arbitrary.
Fully Loaded Ace
Ammo pickup increase reduced to 50% from 60%.
Aiming to slightly increase ammo tension.
Sharpshooter Ace
Duration increased to 10 seconds.
It was a bit too finnicky to bother using with fully automatic weapons before.
Killmer Basic
Now grants 5 accuracy to all rifles, regardless of fire mode; but no longer applies to SMGs.
Ammo Efficiency
Duration increased to 8 seconds, from 6.
The timing of Ammo Efficiency basic with slow firing sniper rifles was often a bit too strict.
Ammo gain reduced to 3% from 3.5%.
Now tracks decimal values of bullets, and adds them once it overflows to an integer value.
This means that there's no longer breakpoints where going from x to y total ammo nets you an extra bullet from the skill. Instead, it smoothly increases.
Now works with all rifles, regardless of fire mode; but no longer applies to SMGs.
Aggressive Reload
Duration is now 10 seconds, from 6/12 seconds.
Ace now allows for rifles to trigger it regardless of fire mode.
Can no longer be triggered by SMGs.
Sneaky Bastard Ace
Healing increased to 6% from 4%.
Now only procs once every time your armor breaks.
The previous number changes had the opposite effect from what was intended- making the skill mostly useful against sustained harassment; but underwhelming to intentionally proc.
This also removes its near gamebreaking synergy with Stoic entirely.
Unseen Strike
Basic now lasts until you take damage, rather than for 3 seconds.
Ace now lasts for 4 seconds after taking damage, rather than for 6 seconds after not taking damage for 3.
This should make the skill considerably less clunky to use.
Running From Death Ace
New functionality- You gain a 20% damage reduction for 10 seconds after reviving. Your weapons are instantly reloaded after reviving.
This better supports the skill's role of preventing you from immediately going down after being revived than the old effect.
Perk Decks
Stoic
Healing when delayed damage is removed reduced to 300% of delayed damage from 400%.
Stoic was rather overtuned previously.
Sicario
Enemy accuracy debuff increased to 75% from 50%.
Dodge meter gain per second for standing inside of your own smoke bomb increased to 40% from 35%.
Sicario was in an iffy spot before, and the changes to Sneaky Bastard Ace hit it very hard. This should help keep it in a good place.
Weapons
Gun handling adjustments.
Guns now have more distinct recoil.
Some guns will pull to one side over another, or will have more horizontal recoil over vertical recoil.
However, kick values between guns are still normalized to about the same average.
Crouching now has a smaller recoil reduction than aiming down sights.
Recoil no longer stops occurring once a certain amount has accumulated in one burst.
Stability now has a greater effect on recoil.
Minor tweaks to weapon spread to be more consistent between stances.
These changes are aimed at making guns feel more distinct from one-another.
Added the Headless Bulldozer's Sword
It is a greatsword-esque melee weapon with reduced concealment and knockdown; along with a very long charge time.
But fully charged attacks spread panic.
Forge your nightmares into the skulls of your enemies!
Empty Palm Kata
Damage reduced to 10(20) from 20(31).
Charge time increased to 1 second from 0.5 seconds.
Now deals 120 damage when parrying.
This damage is influenced by other skills that boost melee damage.
Lucille Baseball Bat
Knockdown reduced to 158(364) from 203(455).
Charge time increased to 2.3 seconds from 2.1 seconds.
Now deals 120 bleed damage over 3 seconds.
Ammo pickup reduced overall by around 7.5%.
Aiming to slightly increase ammo tension.
Updated Vanilla Mod Pack 2 support.
Reduced Reinbeck Auto concealment to 21 from 23.
Fixed Reinbeck Auto reload timer displaying incorrectly.
Added newly added attachments.
Added support for the Derringer custom weapon.
It acts as a more concealable sidegrade to the Peacemaker.
Added support for the XM25 Handheld Grenade Launcher custom weapon.
Treading the line between a shotgun and grenade launcher, the XM25 offers either an extremely high damage buckshot round or a multi-pellet explosive shot that can clear squishier enemies and shields over a wide area.
Localization
Added over 100 Restoration Mod specific loading screen tips. Replacing the vanilla ones.
Changed localization for a number of heist locales to be more accurate.
Added killfeed support for a number of unique murky enemy variants.
Simplified a number of weapon related skill descriptions.
Removed weapon description highlights.
Misc Fixes and Improvements
Fixed a menumanager crash that could rarely occur during heists.
Fixed a crash that sometimes occurred when Tasers attempted to shock a player.
Fixed the Noise Range stat being inconsistently green vs red when modding weapons.
Fixed crashes when using enemy spawn mutators or playing Crime Spree.
Fixed an issue where the hud element for Stoic's delayed damage would flicker in and out.
Fixed an issue where Scavenger Ace and The Professional Ace would sometimes not work for clients.
Fixed network tweaks not loading properly.
Cops can no longer pick up goats.
Fixed 48 damage autogenerated LMGs having the wrong total ammo.
Removed screen shake recoil effect from Toy Weapon pack guns.
Fixed missing localization for other players repairing sentries.
Fixed the Supersize Me kit on the Bootleg granting 125% increased ammo pickup instead of 50% increased ammo pickup.
Healing no longer applies when downed.
Potentially fixed crash related to bows.
Added workaround to avoid crashes with custom weapons with incorrectly configured sound prefixes.
Fixed akimbo Igor pistols having the wrong magazine size.
Suspicion caps increased for Deathwish and Death Sentence.
This should add a little more consistently to stealth play.
