As you may guess, in ParticleQuest there will be tons of particles our heros would need to annihilate. They will be equipped with the Anti-Swords, a highly advanced device created by the Secret Department of CERN. It will allow the heros to match the supermassive particles. And much more...

Power-ups

The Anti-Sword is not a regular sword but one with an edge made out of anti-matter. Thanks to this fact it slides through the particles easily. However, some of the particles are so tough that some power-ups will be needed.

Battle-up: Particle-up!

Similar to the good old Megaman style, throughout the game some power-ups will be acquired by stealing them from the particles themselves (big bosses maybe?). By giving the correct property to the Anti-Sword they will turn it into an even deadlier weapon!

Wisdom-up: Anti-Anti-Sword!

Minus times minus equals plus. Math, bitches!

Not all the particles in the game will be hostile towards the heroes. Some of them will remain neutral or other could also try to help them, and under these circumstances we would want to avoid harming instad of killing them.

The Anti-Anti-Sword (or plainly sword) will be activated turning the anti-anti-matter mod ON. By having a regular sword with specific particle capabilities our heroes will be able to smartly interact with those friendly particles and solve the unfathomable puzzles!

Think about the possibilities: 12 particles * 12 sword flavors = 144 puzzle mechanics!

Damage

When the time comes here we we'll have the balance between the sword flavors and the enemies. Here there are some calculations for the current weapons in the game (they will be changed eventually).
