Setting up Loot Priorities - papa-smurf/Gargul GitHub Wiki
What can it do for me?
If set up correctly, loot priorities will be displayed on an item's tooltip and will be used as a default value of the item box (see number 1), allowing you to quickly check and share loot priorities without having to ever leave your game. Here's an example of what a tooltip could look like:
How can I set up loot priorities?
You can import loot priorities from That's My BIS (covered here) or do it manually in the loot priority editor which you can open with one of the following commands:
/gl lootpriority
/gl priority
/gl lo
/gl pr
After which you're greeted by the following screen:
In here you can directly add or edit your desired loot priorities, or you can manage those elsewhere and just copy them in here from time to time or share them with the rest of your guild/raid.
Loot priorities can be defined in one of two formats:
Sartura's Might > Priest, Druid > Paladin
21666 > Priest, Druid > Paladin
Meaning that you can either use an (exact!) name or id (found on wowhead.com for example) to refer to items. You can use the greater-than sign to differentiate between priority levels and a comma for equal priority e.g.:
[item id or name] > [first priority, equal priority] > [second priority] > etc
Here's what the examples above regarding Sartura's Might would look like:
How can I share loot priorities?
As of now there's no direct way to share these priorities in-game, because every guild or raid will have their own loot priority lists or might even go without them. The easiest way to share these priorities is to either manage them externally in a shared document, or to copy the data in /gl lootpriority and share them with anyone you'd like directly.
