The Mystery Bow is a dangerous bow that has a chance of shooting an arrow with a random negative effect.

Crafting the Mystery Bow requires a bow, 4 blaze powder,1 spider eye, 1 fermented spider eye, 1 sugar, and 1 glistering melon slice.
Powerful Bogged can drop an enchanted Mystery Bow.
The Mystery Bow will shoot regular arrows, which have a 61% chance of being tipped with a random negative effect. The negative effect can only be Poison, harming, Weakness, or Slowness. The level and length are also randomized. Below is a list of every possible effect along with its length and level. Note that every effect, including its variants, has the same chance of 7% to be selected.

- Harming II
- Poison I for 5 seconds
- Poison I for 11 seconds
- Poison II for 2 seconds
- Slowness I for 11 seconds
- Slowness I for 30 seconds
- Slowness IV for 2 seconds
- Weakness I for 11 seconds
- Weakness I for 30 seconds
When the arrow lands, it will clear any of its effects.
