Sprint 1 Demo and Retrospective - paceuniversity/cs3892015team4 GitHub Wiki

##Demo Status of the software to be developed – summary

As of the end of Sprint 1, the skeleton of our app is complete. In other words the menus and the buttons each work in moving to separate pages in the app. The next step is to implement what each of the buttons do as well as add some background media.

##Retrospective

Sprint Goal

The goal of this sprint was to complete the outline of our app. In other words, we wanted to have all the buttons and the activities for each button press to work and to have an idea of our logo and background media such as images and music.

Number of stories planned versus implemented

We planned to complete 5 User Stories and we were able to complete 2 of them.

Planned versus actual velocity

Sprint retrospective written summary

  • What should the team start doing?
We should start putting more time in learning Android and Github in order to make sure we are working efficiently.
  • What should the team continue doing? (in terms of process, communications …)
We should try to come together one day and work on the project together at the same time.
  • Status of the evolution of the Product Backlog
Through Sprint 1, we noticed that some of our User Stories required more detail and with that more things to code. Also, we noticed that we did not take into account a Splash Screen in our app in which the app icon will be displayed for a couple of seconds before the main menu is supposed to appear. We added that to our Product Backlog and other that that, our backlog remained the same.
