Pabile 42-Key or P42 is a 4x10 grid ortholinear keyboard with two rotary encoders. Aside from Pro Micro, P42 was also designed for Adafruit Feather 32u4 Bluefruit LE micro controller for wireless/Bluetooth connectivity. PCB version 1 have error accepting Adafruit Feather 32u4 Bluefruit LE. Pins have been rerouted in newer PCBs to properly work with Adafruit Feather 32u4 Bluefruit LE. More photos are shared here.

P45v5

PCB version 5 supports 2U Space. RAW is connected to LED VCC via jumper. On/Off switch is connected to GND and B-.

Optional slide switch may be soldered at the bottom PCB. This switch is connected to the battery input pins of the PCB and are intended for those that will use NRFMICRO or similar controller - not supported in Feather. This switch is not available in older PCB versions.

Casing

A bottom cover for the P42 can be downloaded on thingiverse. Take note of the Fusion360 backup/archive and drawing (dxf) files that are also available as thing files. Aside from the bottom cover, this 3D printed casing is also available. Long Pro Micros won't fit with these 3D printed casings though. M2 screws are required.

Stacked acrylic drawing files are found in this folder. Assembly will require M2x6mm bolts and stand offs. These drawing are designed for Pro Micros soldered on top of PCB. Minor revision is needed to use with Feather BLE. Stacked acrylic casings can accommodate both standard sized and long Pro Micro.

Use p42-rev1-00-06.dxf to achieve hidden bolt design like those in above photo. The two plates are glued together with the bolts sunk/flushed.

PCB Notes

P42v3a - BAT+ is connected to VCC. Controller RAW is null. &ext_power EP_TOG will not work, use physical power switch. v5 have LED VCC connected on RAW. v5C-4523 - (unreleased) corrects this issue - option to choose from RAW or VCC via jumpers.
