Pabile 2-Key aka P2 aka Pee-Two is a 2-key macro pad. P2 features hot swap switch sockets, RGB backlights and an optional rotary encoder.

Qty Description
1 P2 PCB / Schematics
1 Pro Micro with pin headers
2 Kailh CPG151101S11 or compatible sockets
up to 1 EC11 Rotary Encoder with knob
2 SK6812 RGB LED
up to 2 MX compatible switches with keycaps
1 USB Cable

Required tools

  • Solder iron and solder wire
  • Flush cutter
  • Electrical tape
  • optional third (helping) hand and/or small clamps

Preparations

Cut the pin header provided with the Pro Micro to 3 with each header having 4 pins.

To test Pro Micro, flashing this pre-compiled firmware. Short either of these pins: D3 and D7; or D2 and D7 - these should register as numbers 1 and 2.

Ground pin for the RGB LED is located at the top right most pin when looking at the bottom of PCB. Schematics

Soldering

  1. Seat and solder switch sockets and RGB LEDs to PCB
  2. Seat and solder pin headers to the PCB
  3. Optional: seat and solder EC11 encoder to the PCB
  4. Apply electrical tape on the bottom of the PCB to prevent short circuit with the Pro Micro
  5. Seat and solder Pro Micro to the PCB. Top of Pro Micro is facing bottom of PCB.
  6. Trim excess pins at the bottom of the Pro Micro

Casing

The 3D printed casing in this link is intended for this Pro Micro. Adjustment on the USB port side is needed if using other Pro Micro.
