Techguns Armors

There are many armors available. They can be categorized into 2 categories: unpowered and powered.

Unpowered

These are Armors that always work, they provide their armor, and their stat boosts shown in the tooltip, this includes movement speed, mining speed, etc.

They have durability and can be repaired at the Repair Bench (a new block from Techguns). Repairing is always cheaper than building a new one. They do not get destroyes when they reach zero durability (they stay at 1 dur), but their stats do no longer apply to the player in that case.

Powered

Those armors have additionally a power value. They still have durability like unpowered armors. These armors do only work (stat boosts) when they have power. There are currently 2 different power-types available: Steam and RF. The chest is the main part and provides power to the other slots, so powered armors will not work if you don't wear a chest with the same power type. The type and Items it requires are all listed in the tooltip.

As most techguns items, the chest takes the required item from your inventory and automatically reloads itself. These are currently Energy Cells for RF armors, and Compressed Air Tanks for the steam power armor (the only one using that type currently).

Damage Types

Techguns adds damage type, instead of all damage beeing the same. This means there are different armor values against each damage type. The rest is like in vanilla where 1 Point of armor = 4% reduction. Armor values can be float in techguns and are not limited to round numbers.
