Owntech is based on a hardware part and a digital part. The digital part allows you to configure electrical conversion operations more easily. Controlling voltage is not easy, and requires sequencing the passage of electrons. The Owntech suite makes these power electronics operations as transparent as possible.
There are several ways of working with the Owntech suite, either in C or with matlab. An educational package will soon be available for those allergic to code!
Working in C: If you want to follow the tutorials, this is the preferred method. You'll need an IDE to work with C. We advise you to use Visual Studio code, so that your working environment is preconfigured. You can follow the tutorial for installation steps.
