In this Lab we used Packet tracker to simulate connecting devices to a switch and sending ping requests in a network.

How do you deploy workstations and switches in Packet Tracer? - You go to the device type selection box and drag them onto the screen

How do connect these devices with cables? - You select copper straight through wire, connect the WS to a switch and select an ethernet.

How do you access the command-line terminal on a Packet Tracer PC? - You click on a WS, go to the desktop tab, and select Command Prompt
