  • Added 10 principles to the document and agreed to definitions for 8 of the 10. The remaining 2 were taken as an action for Tracy to complete.
    1. Interoperability - leverages open standards and test suites to allow assets, credentials, and all other data within the wallet to be used where the holder needs to use them.
    2. Transparency - the wallet does what it says it will do and only what it says it will do.
    3. Inclusion - shall not exclude or discriminate against holders within its governance scope.
    4. Portability - ability to move from one wallet to another wallet (avoid wallet lock-in).
    5. Usability - the ability for the holder to use the wallet for the purpose it is intended for.
    6. Highly Secure - User assets, credentials, and all other data are protected on an on-going basis within the given model used by the wallet.
    7. Privacy Preserving - The wallet will support and preserve the user’s privacy.
    8. Multi-purpose - The wallet may support assets, credentials, and other data.
    9. Componentization - the OWF is focused on creating a number of reusable pieces of software that can be used by wallet makers/providers
    10. Open - operates independently of specific partisan interests and is developed in a collaborative manner according to open processes that adhere to the OWF’s Code of Conduct
