  • Modify interfaces to take team ID from the Users (MPI, OpenSHMEM) Two questions :
  • Should we provide process level or job level uniqueness for the team Id
    • Process level unique should be enough
    • The main motivation for job level is for implementing sessions
  • What should be the size?
    • unsigned 32 bit
    • This might have to change based on the UCP tag space and requirements from sessions implementation

Unifying schedule and task abstraction

  • The goal is to arrive at a unified set of abstractions for schedule and tasks
  • Proposal for unified schedule and task abstractions are in the slides [1]
