discuss about stewardship doc, possibly review/discuss in Nov with tentative goal of some agreement as many will be in-person at SC23
brief update on some some work on security audits, and general discussions on how projects typically manage items in public projects, i.e., typically patching procedures and disclosures
- example, often use a private repo and exchange patches via email
