Off topic a bit, but discussed why an app would want to use PMIx to tell RM about power use changes. The idea would be that the app would know when it was done with its power-intense part of its could basically return "power cap or power allocation" back so that other jobs could run.

SC2016 BOF - submitted another PMIx BOF for this year. Mostly the same as last years abstract.

Some folks need the event notification enabled in OMPI. Ralph working on providing this.

Discussion of the symbol issues between ompi and pmix. Ex: pmix_value_t vs opal_value_t and so on. pmix_info_t, pmix_proc_t and pmix_value_t are all publically visible.

Currently the opal_value_t looks completely different than a pmix_value_t Proposal is that we introduce opal_pmix_value_t which is a typedef of pmix_value_t and don't use opal_value_t for storing pmix_value_t's in OMPI code.

Discussed the deregister of index -1 issue. Is fixed in master? Need to pull to 1.1.4?
