Minutes:

  • Artem discussed a proposal to modify the publish API for 2.0, Ralph and Artem to discuss and follow up with an RFC.
  • Planned list of features for PMIx 2.0 release
    • Shared Memory
    • Event Notification
    • Tool Support
    • Log Support
    • Query Interface
    • Flexible allocation
    • Internode communication
  • Ralph reported active discussions with debugger group to support debugger related actions through PMIx API. They want to register for event notifications and in response request the RM to spawn debugger daemons through PMIx_Spawn. Microsoft want to enable windows support for PMIx to support win debuggers.
