Spirit tree cores are spawned with their corresponding Spirit Tree Sapling.

Elder

The elder tree spirit core is a tree spirit's main core. If it is destroyed or the player wanders too far away from the core, tree, and tree spirit will die.

Dimension

Dimension cores act as a bridge between dimensions for the tree spirit and their tree. They allow the player to expand their tree to additional dimensions.

Normal

A normal core is crafted with 8 Spirit Tree Essence around a Spirit Tree Log.

Right-clicking an elder core with a normal core consumes the normal core to increase the elder core's protection radius by one. This can be applied two times for a total radius of three.

Shift-right-clicking on the elder core returns a normal core if the elder core has been upgraded.

Fed | Touch of Beacon

All cores implement the functionality of a tier zero beacon from the Touch of Beacon mod if it is installed. This feeds tree spirits by default but can be changed in the configuration.
