This document contains build information for OpenSwitch OPX Base.

Get OpenSwitch

There are two ways to get the image:

• Download and install binaries — see the OPX Installation Guide for complete information., or
• Build from scratch — Refer to the documentation for building OPX at the opx-build repository README file.

Installation

After packages are built, they can be installed into an existing OPX system using dpkg -i or combined into an OPX installation image for installation via ONIE using the opx-build/scripts/opx_run opx_rel_pkgasm.py command. Full documentation for this step can also be found in the opx-build repository's README file.
