Corning (GLW US): 2Q15 result inline. However, Corning has cut its forecast for global 2015 LCD glass growth to 6%~7%; weak PC, tablet, and European/Latin TV sales are cited.

AUO (2409 TT): 2Q15 result inline. Panel prices remained weak in July, especially for tablet & 32-inch TV, both of which declined 4-5%. NB and MNT panel prices also declined around 3-4%. Inventory levels have been relatively high. Based on AUO’s comments, MNT and NB inventory levels are one-week and four-to-six weeks higher than normal respectively.
