  • mostly studying for pchem test (hinders my attendance to this meeting), which has taken up most of this week's time, should be more available on thanksgiving break

  • continuing running openmc

*finishing Rsicc application (Soha stated in a text message that she put "need this tool for research application for molten salt reactor")

Note: Most my time this week was dedicated to reactor theory and the Texas Nuclear Summit.
*Continue Reviewing Reluca's Work

  • I have found a few papers summarizing salt purification processes and am working my way through them. I will present summarized findings next meeting.
  • Fellowship Applications
    • Not done. Becoming Urgent.
  • Investigate determination of Redox Potential Directly from chemical activity
    • No progress on this front this week.
  • MIT Loop Thermochimica Scoping Runs
    • No progress on this.
  • Draft Abstract Submissions 2x 250 words, then add a progress estimation and description of remaining work. Include Timeline for abstract, Notification, Publication Draft
    • Spoke with Nash about having him collaborate. He is interested. I must create an outline and send it to Dr. Clarno and Chvala by monday night.

  • create TACC account and begin lit review (if time allows)

Questions for Upcoming Meeting

  • Should we cancel next weeks meeting as it is a holiday? Or would we like to move it?
  • Could we look into finding a better time to attend these meetings? Office hours and other classes often conflict with the Thursday meeting times.
