TIP: Namecheap currently works only with IPv4. IPv6 is not supported

• Username:
  • If you want to update domain, then use: @
  • If you want to update subdomain, then enter subdomain, as example mysubdomain
• Password: To get your password, login to namecheap and go to Dynamic DNS Password = Domain List >> click Manage next to the domain >> Advanced DNS tab >> Dynamic DNS. If it is not enabled, enable it to check the password.
• Domain Name: Enter the domain name provided by your service provider. Remote users can use the domain name to access your local network through WAN port.
• Update Interval: Select how often the WAN IP address is automatically updated.
• Update URL: http://dynamicdns.park-your-domain.com/update?host=[USERNAME]&domain=[DOMAIN]&password=[PASSWORD]&ip=[IP]

1. click "Create New Dynamic DNS Entry" button and create Custom service provider:

   

2. Enter your parameters for ddns service with namecheap

   Namecheap DDNS - Update Subdomain

   • If you want to update your subdomain, use your subdomain as Username.

     Example: yoursubdomain.yourdomain.ltd:

     

   Namecheap DDNS - Update Domain

   • If you want to update your domain, use @ as Username.

     Example: yourdomain.ltd:

     

3. Click "Create"
