This guide is mostly a collection of notes I am compiling together onto a wiki as I tinker with the Steam Deck.

To be able to use this wiki, you should be familiar with Linux and be able to use the command line.

Due to the current state of Steam OS, Flatpaks, and the Linux Desktop, many things require workarounds to work.

This guide tries to limit the number of workarounds needed and tries to avoid modifying existing programs and the Steam OS operating system itself (no pacman or sudo). There's probably plenty of alternative methods you could use but these are the ones I've used.
