Welcome to the RimTrust wiki!

RimTrust was created in late 2020 and started as an offline mod for myself. It started out simple with core features originally based on RimBank by user19990313 (3 more hidden). I grabed the 1.1 version of Mlie (Bar0th) and ported them to version 1.2, which was not available then. I gradually expanded the features from the banknote concept to other stuff that I liked to have in my playthroughs. One of the new core features is a legacy / ascension that carries several stats over between saves, including trust funds (silver), legacy skills, legacy research and legacy power.

The mod now contains several additional subfeatures like:

  • an interest drop incident, that gives you interest on the hard-deposited silver you cannot access anymore otherwise, and the trust ledger console as a building to hard-deposit your silver
  • whole new legacy skills feature, allowing to save a portion of the best skill level of your chosen pawns (with comes with its own costs as a side effect) and items, buildings and hediffs attached to that concept
  • a trustee collector incident, on all colonists' death you have a chance that some of your colony wealth (silver, banknotes, gold, art) will be sold for a portion of its original value (this incident is no longer needed with the 1.5 "continue colony" option and might be broken. will most likely be removed or changed for 1.5
  • legacy research feature, a way to speed up your early game if you can load previously unlocked and saved research projects
  • legacy power: with enough power saved in the subspace you can have your own power generation trust ledger console!
  • custom nutrient supplement pills (high tech non-perishable food in case of food shortages), along with buildings and workerdefs for that
  • an augmented sniper rifle, a more high tech version of the standard sniper rifle with less warm-up and cooldown, slightly smaller range, higher damage and higher accuracy.
  • arborfibre, a vanilla modded way to grow wood in hydroponics basins (similar to fibrecorn in Ideology)
